A Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram, abbreviated either as PTCA or PTHC is an x-ray of the bile ducts, taken after a contrast medium is injected directly into a liver bile duct.

The procedure can be performed by a radiologist. Its purpose is to test whether jaundice or pancreatitis is being caused by bile duct blockage.
